   James had: William, Benjamin, James, Jr., Nathan, Joseph, John and Michael. There may have been others, but I have not been able to adequately identify them. The only one who has “proof of descent” is Nathan – He received a gift of 200 acres from James in 1760, and when he sold 100 acres of it, the deed specifically states that James McGehee is his father.
